Crystal...I love that quote. I do believe that everyone can learn in their own way. I used to work with Special Needs and still do in some ways with Head Start. I have a student with Autism and he learns but like you quote says just in different ways. Why is this quote meaningful to you????
Hi Crystal, I like your quote, because is the way we all should think while working with people, not only children. Just as we all look different, we learn and process everything in our unique way. My mom always says that there are two kinds of teachers, both may have the same knowledge, but there are those who know how to teach and the others that don't. I think she is right, mom always knows everything ...lol.
I like the quote and the meaning that everyone has pulled from it. I though am pondering the part "just not on the same day." What does this part mean to you?

ReplyDeleteThis quote is meaningful to me because I individualize my teaching methods and strategies to meet the needs of every child.
